The Commodore 64 SRAM Module was designed to replace all DRAM memory chips in the Commodore 64 in one module.

This module requires the removal of all 8 DRAM modules soldered to your C64. The best way to install this module then is to replace your current DRAM chips with sockets. Once the sockets are installed, carefully align the pins at the bottom middle which should help to align the rest of the pins.

2 Revisions of this product exist. 1 of them is for the 250407 boards and the other is for the 250425 boards.

You must be careful not to bend these pins because the break easily.

Works great in a NTSC machine – no issues at all. For the price, it can be less expensive than original chips. Plus, it is a new product, so this is a good option for future proofing a C64.
In my experience this memory board is unstable in a PAL C64 – some programs refuse to load, memory appears to get corrupted. Timing issue? Just something to keep in mind if you have a PAL board.

Amazing board! Thanks to diychris for making this. To the other reviewer, Patrick, that had trouble using it on a PAL machine, maybe changing the values of C203/C204 would help. See this post on lemon64:
