Greaseweazle is a USB device and host tools allowing versatile floppy drive control. By extracting the raw flux transitions from a drive, any disk format can be captured and analysed: PC, Amiga, Amstrad, PDP-11, musical instruments, industrial equipment, and more. Greaseweazle also supports writing to floppy disks, from a range of image file formats including those commonly used for online preservation (ADF, IPF, DSK, IMG, HFE, …).

You can choose from several options:
- 3D Printed Case – Includes the 3D printed case as shown in the pictures.
- Assembly Hardware:
- Rubber Feet for Case, Includes the rubber feet that can be affixed to the bottom of the case.
- Basic Kit, Includes heat inserts and screws. The heat inserts are required by the case and are inserted using a tool, to added threaded inserts for the the M3 screws. Also includes 8 x 3M screws for the case assembly.
- Deluxe Kit, Includes everything in the Basic kit but also includes 4 x 3M screws for the floppy drive and the rubber feet for the bottom of the case. Basically all the hardware you need to complete assembly!
- USB A to USB-C cable, this cable is required to connect the drive to your PC / MAC!
- Floppy Ribbon Cable, this is needed to connect the floppy drive to the Greaseweazle!
- Floppy Power Cable, this is needed to power the floppy drive!
- Assembly Service, did you order all the parts and don’t want to deal with putting it all together? No problem, I can do that for you and ship you a drive that’s 100% built and ready to be plugged into your PC / MAC
To assemble or disassemble the case, you’ll need a hex driver and a Torx driver.
The default case color is Dark Gray. I usually keep this color in stock. If you want something different, add a noted to your order with a color preference and if I have it in stock I’ll do it, otherwise I will e-mail you can we can work out a different color!
